Kearsarge Peddler Privacy Policy
Effective date: 14 September 2026.
Kearsarge Peddler is an Android game made by Kearsarge Studios in New Hampshire. If anything here raises a question, write to us at hello@kearsargestudios.com .
The short version
We collect nothing about you. There is no account and no login. There are no ads, no analytics, no trackers, and no crash reporting. The app makes no network requests of its own, and the whole game plays offline.
What the game saves
Three things: your current run, your progress across runs, and a yes/no record of whether you own the Peddler's Pack. All three live in the app's private storage on your device. None of it is sent to us — we run no server for this game and cannot read your saves. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in your device's settings, deletes them.
The purchase
The game has one optional, one-time purchase — the Peddler's Pack. Google Play sells and processes it under Google's privacy policy; we never see or store your name, your email address, or your payment details, and all we learn is whether the Pack is owned so the game can unlock it.
Backup
If your device's backup is switched on, Android may include the game's saved progress in the backup it makes to your own Google account, under Google's policies. We never receive that copy. You can turn backup off in your device's Backup settings.
Other companies' code in the app
One piece: Google's Play Billing library, which is how the app asks Google Play about the purchase above. It is Google's code, and it may report to Google about its own operation under Google's privacy policy. There is no advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting library in the app at all.
Children
Kearsarge Peddler is for players 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them — or from anyone else.
Keeping and deleting data
Because nothing is collected or stored by us, there is nothing for us to keep and nothing to ask us to delete. Your saves are yours: uninstall the app or clear its data to remove them from your device, and use your Google account's backup settings to remove any backup copy.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new text is posted on this page with a new effective date.
